In dem #Fantasy-#Anime geht es um ein Mädchen, das durch Zufall hinter die Geheimnisse der Zauberei kommt, dabei durch verbotene Magie ihre Mutter verhext und von einem Zauberer als Lehrling aufgenommen wird. Sie will die Zauberei erlernen, um ihre Mutter eines Tages zu retten.
Die Geschichte ergründet sehr einfühlsam die Beziehung des Mädchen mit den anderen Lehrlingen und zum Meister, der ein guter Lehrer ist, aber wohl auch einiges düsteres zu verbergen hat. Der Anime geht bisher noch nicht sehr weit. Dazu ist die Welt überzeugend aufgebaut und die Umsetzung als Anime rundum gelungen.
