Shaolin Soccer is on one of the movie channels right now. We've got to watch it for the thousandth time; that's the law.

Probably around 2005ish I ordered a copy of this film from a dubious site in Hong Kong for a few quid after hearing about it. Incredibly, the film arrived in the post within about 36 hours, on a CD-RW in paper packaging tied with string, bedecked with about two dozen stamps.

What if Stephen Chow wrote and directed The Matrix and cranked it to 11? You'd get Everything Everywhere All At Once. Wild ride the whole time. I just watched it for the first time last night and I loved it!

And if you don't know Stephen Chow, Kung Fu Hustle is pretty much required viewing. Shaolin Soccer is great too.
