  1. Imagine If the #UK had a new government, led by a #humanrights lawyer.

    Then it would urgently overturn the #Tory removal of the #BritishCitizenship of #ShamimaBegum. She was sex trafficked as a child, had 3 children from a #forcedmarriage who all died, & was made #stateless in 2019.

    But instead of a human rights lawyer, the UK elected a cruel liar called #Starmer. He doesn't even condemn #genocide, but persecutes anti-genociders as "#terrorist".

I’m not sure how much sympathy I have for #ShamimaBegum but I do find this case to be borderline disgraceful and opposite to how a democratic society should work. #Shamima here is guilty until proven innocent. In a decision made by one person who is not even a legal judge. With no way to remedy her life.

    She should have been judged in a court of law based on crimes and evidence. If proven guilty then, by all means, deliver punishment.
