Wow. This is amazing. An extremely well preserved stop-motion puppet from the 1949 classic, "Mighty Joe Young." If it were mine, I would be sorely tempted to use some sort of custom-made device to slowly space the legs apart for a more natural pose. Like, one millimeter a month. #SFX

Something I noticed in #games is that #sfx (special effects) are getting larger and larger, obscuring a lot of the screen.
Especially fighting games seem to have this issue. For example in in Super Street Fighter 2 the sfx are used to indicate points of contacts. But in some modern fighting games the sfx seems to do the damage.
So the sfx seems have gone from "after contact" to "before contact".
Quick note: This problem seems to be across al genres, not only fighting games.
