Luna turned six years old this week, and I’m happy to report that she’s healthy and thriving, which brings us great joy. She had a tough start when we first rescued her from the #SF SPCA as a puppy, dealing with parvo, pneumonia, and then valley fever. But she pulled through and now enjoys an amazing life in Rincón Hill.

We adopted @luna when she was a 3-month-old puppy, but she almost didn't make to 4.
It turned out that she and her sisters had gotten parvo at the SF SPCA. So within two days of adoption, she was in the hospital, fighting parvo, which then turned into pneumonia induced by valley fever.
She's fine now, but it took a while.
Spay and neuter your dogs and make sure you vaccinate them.
