I'll just add one more detail--the Orinda Theater is about a 5 min walk from the Orinda #SFBart station. I saw some crappy traffic which I luckily didn't have to experience.
Next year, SFSFF is back at the Castro.

Never seen #SFBART say that there's a "1-car" train coming next. Probably just a typo, but maybe I'm about to see a baby yellow line train!

#SFBART being down fucking sucks. This TransBay bus is packed to the gills and it's definitely not safe; there aren't many handholds. In a working transit system they'd be running extra buses or bus bridges but instead the seventh largest rapid transit system in the country is just telling tens of thousands of people to wing it.

Passengers traveling between Coliseum and Oakland Airport on the Oakland Airport Line can expect up to 18-minute delays due to an equipment problem on the track. A/C transit offers bus service between Coliseum and Oakland International Airport via bus 73. Edward Wright's highlights from the BART board debate are great. Clearly more knowledgeable than his opponent, Edward doesn't accept it as a foregone conclusion that BART has to increase its already highest-in-the-nation fares.

We visited the Western Railway Museum near Rio Vista today (www.wrm.org). Our museum has had a few research collaborations with them in the past, but this was just a friendly visit to ride a trolley. A lot of their cars had "car cards" with period-appropriate ads. As a fan of all forms of vintage entertainment, I was intrigued by an ad for a (late 20's, I think) radio.

A recent addition to the museum is a collection of original #SFBART train control panels. There are even some for sale in the gift shop (not one of the cheaper items in there, but undeniably cool).

The other day I had some midweek business at our museum, and went there from my office in Mountain View via transit and bike.
