This visit we wanted to offer a bhandara. A bhandara is serving food to the needy as an offering to God or in thanks for good fortune. It is something that is at the core of many Indian religious traditions including #Hinduism, #Jainism, #Buddhism, and especially #Sikhism as #langar at gurudwaras. It is something @dohappybelove saw many times growing up and we wanted to make a small contribution to share our joy and happiness with others
