At #SouthMimms #motorway #servicestation on #M25 just outside #London returning from a visit to relatives for my birthday weekend, having a quick snack and a drink if Pepsi before I deal with the miserable section between Potters Bar and Enfield which seems to be a permanent roadworks zone at the moment. Lots more #EV chargers are appearing (not just Tesla) but alas, it seems Welcome Break have abandoned #recycling bins as I'm sure they had these last time I was here..

I've always thought that the tatty footbridge at Corley services looked like a repurposed train discarded by TFL from one of the older London underground lines.

WTF does this mean? Does this officer think bikes not locked to anything are slow to steal, or what???

Service stations are surprisingly useful for out-of-hours top-up shopping, and if there's also a takeaway, safe #cycleParking will probably reduce thefts. I'll ask #KLWNBUG to comment.

After 72 years, Oregonians can pump their own gas. That leaves New Jersey as the last state where it's illegal to pump your own gas.

Yesterday we stopped at #LeighDelamere #ServiceStation on our way home and I spotted an #abandoned building on the outskirts. Naturally we had to take a closer look. 👀
No clue what it used to be, it was very anonymous and now used for fly-tipping (that great British pastime) and casual drinking by vagrants. Still, cool to see!
