Pepper, guide dog in training fell off her bed and is quite the snoring machine.

Meet Pepper, a 10 week old girl black Labrador Retriever who is in training to become a guide dog. She's a joy that we have for a little more than a year before she goes back to school.
We named her (first time!) Pepper after Pepper Potts because she's going to be someone's amazing support and guide.
Pepper is a puppy in training for Dogs Inc, they place and support their dogs at no cost to their recipients.

Also I learned that you can have #horses and #pigs as #ServiceAnimals. One picture showed a dressed up horse with shoes and I'm curious if this is a thing for owners of such animals?
Search for "horse service animal" and you'll find a horse in a plane completely dressed up, which I find odd. Is this for better visibility, or personal preference?

Businesses that unlawfully prohibit customers with #serviceAnimals need to be named and shamed, because they clearly believe they don't have to abide by the law, and there won't be any consequences for this #discrimination. We should bring the consequences to their front door. If you're one of these businesses, understand that the law is clear, and you have no right to prevent these animals from entering your premises. First comes public shame, next come the lawsuits.

Asking for a friend (really!): anyone have experience with American Airlines hassling you for traveling with a registered service animal? It happens every single time my friend flies and it’s goddamned outrageous. Today she was literally kicked off a flight for objecting to this treatment. A fine example of teamwork making the dream work as it were. Nothing feels better than a day of working with, and working my pup, making discoveries, and decisions together, and simply trusting in our bond. Whether we have things to do that see us out for an hour, or 12, it’s super gratifying. To return home with a happy dog, a job well done, and massive happy tail wags for having done-so. The times when nothing goes right, when we’re both off etc are simply teachable moments for both of us. Today, I had to attend an appointment at a building we haven’t been to since June. Larry almost ran to show me that he remembered where the locations were within it. I know this is old hat for these pups, but the magic of seeing him light up with that knowledge, wanting to work, wanting to show off, and nailing it like a rockstar never, ever gets old. #GuideDogPost #BondingWithYourPup #serviceAnimals #ServiceDogs
