The other day I listened to a podcast episode about the latest version of the #ScrumGuide. They mentioned that it got rid of the term #ServantLeader, which it used previously to describe the position of #ScrumMaster.
I know the main point of that revision was to rewrite it from scratch and shorten it, but maybe the authors also share those feelings about the term?
Personally, I just found the term a bit weird; I didn't know it has a history outside #Scrum. Good to know! Thanks, @grimalkina.

Like the Ukrainian president Zelensky, Finland’s President Sauli Niinistö is a true “Servant of the People.”
Already before we elected him as the president, Niinistö donated his salary as a member of parliament to charity. He had some savings and investments from earlier years that were enough to sustain him.
When he accepted the presidency, he lowered the official pay for the president by almost a quarter. He said it’s enough for him. Probably the first leader to reduce their salary.
To get a strong mandate from the entire population, Niinistö ran for his second term as an independent, outside the traditional party politics. He won in a landslide.
He didn’t even have to spend the campaign funds in full, so he donated the rest to underprivileged youth. He has made many significant donations to multiple important causes over the years.
Niinistö flies in coach to his meetings with international leaders. When the auditorium in a book fair his wife organized was full, Niinistö sat on the floor, not asking to be seated.
While humble, President Niinistö is also a charismatic personality, deeply respected by leaders around the world. He usually gets his way even with Putin.
In his traditional new year’s speech this year, Niinistö said that it takes humility to serve a cause bigger than yourself from all of us to progress as a nation.
This is exactly how Jim Collins defines Level 5 leadership. The humility and resolve for a cause bigger than ourselves.
A servant leader.

Being an educator is mostly about leadership and care, both happen together and are inseparable.
