#Sertraline gives me emotional regulation issues but it also does a pretty sweet job of holding the #depression at bay. I know which poison I prefer.
Makes me wonder whether I truly am cyclothymic or if the agitated ups are just sertraline side effects.

If you're prescribed #Sertraline in the UK, there has been a fuck-up with packaging by one manufacturer.
Affected boxes have blister packs of Citalopram in them instead of (or as well as) sertraline.

This happened to me when I had my Zoloft dosage increased.

Since halving my #sertraline dose, down to 50mg / day, my brain feels like it’s halved in processing power. Words are more difficult to find, my speech is slower, my thought patterns and creativity are stifled. I’m generally more lethargic. On the plus side I’m less agitated and less prone to angry outbursts. If only I could have all of the good bits and none of the bad. That’s not really how life works though, is it.

1/ I’m guessing I dropped down from 100mg of #sertraline to 75 around 2 months ago. I lowered the dose because I was getting irritable and aggressive as we emerged from the dark winter months. I dropped it further still to 50mg around 2 weeks ago. My irritability and #anger has subsided, to be replaced by mild #anxiety, lethargy and #depression. I think this might be a reasonable balance between the two states, although I’d rather feel a little more perky.
