Bon, évidemment, c'est mon salopiot de chat qui l'a amenée... Une très jeune couleuvre verte et jaune que j'ai ramassée sur le carrelage et que j'ai crue morte. Seuls signes de vie, la tête et le regard. Je l'ai promenée un peu dans ma main, au soleil, pour la réchauffer. Elle pendouillait comme une loque. Je l'ai approchée d'un tas de tuiles et là, elle s'est lentement faufilée à l'abri. J'espère que le chat ne l'a pas blessée et qu'elle survivra.

Moi-même, j'ai un peu peur des serpents. Ce qui est complètement irrationnel car ils sont discrets et craintifs ; ils ne réagissent par la morsure que quand on les embête au point de les acculer, ou lorsqu’ils se sentent agressés.
Et ils font partie des écosystèmes en bonne santé. C'est un privilège d'en côtoyer.
