Currently really enjoying watching this #LetsPlay by #TheLibrarian of Voices of the Void, a game where you play the role of a low employee who has to trace, observe, and analyse extraterrestrial signals in a location that more and more appears to be a hotbed for #SCP events as well as visits by extraterrestrials.

I'm currently still on the first season, which is quite some versions behind on the latest version of #VotV, but it'll be interesting to see how the development of the game progresses before perhaps diving in with the latest version myself.

I'm looking for recommendations for anthologies such as The Animatrix, Love, Death, Robots, and Secret Level. Science-Fiction or Fantasy is a plus, but not required.
Ideally the episodes are about 30 minutes max though.

I appreciate that this series, Into the Night, has actors of different nationalities speak their native language where/when it makes sense for the characters they portray, but it bugs me that they use Dutch and Flemish randomly as descriptors in the subs. While technically it's correct to say [speaks Dutch] when the Belgian is speaking Flemish, I've also spotted them use [speaks Flemish] when the Dutch guy is talking plain Dutch.

Watching a series (Into The Night) where they have to grab onto something they suspect is under high voltage, and the way they test it, is by just grabbing it with their hands...
And whenever that happens in a #SeriesFiXatoWatches, every time I'm reminded of what a high school teacher (I think it was our science teacher?) told us: test with the back of your hand; that way if you do get shocked, you at least won't have to deal with being unable to let go of the source because the muscles in your hand have seized up.

As my current "have on in the background to follow with low level attention" series I have #SexAndTheCity. Currently at the episode where Carrie meets Aleksandr Petrovsky and has dinner with him.
The waitress comes over and talks with Aleksandr, and the #captions on #Netflix read: [both speaking French]. I'm not fluent in #French, but I'm quite sure that their conversation sounded a lot more like #Russian than French. 😅 Which also makes a lot more sense, (Latvian-born American) Mikhail Baryshnikov's character is supposed to be Russian, and they are dining in a Russian restaurant. 😂

These kinds of mistakes always make me wonder how the mistake happened.

Edit: hmm, one of the later episodes has one of his assistants speaking French; I wonder if that's where the mistake came from.

Now, as he's eating his evening meal, he wanted to watch the rest of it.

#TodayILearned that apparently #BilliePiper was not told that actual showers would go off in the lift of of the hospital facility of the #DoctorWho episode #NewEearth (#DrWho168S02E01), so her shocked expression when she is getting absolutely soaked as she is getting 'disinfected' is genuine!

So, I finished season 2 of #Impulse series, only to find out #YouTubeOriginals cancelled the series...
I kinda liked this spin-off of #Jumper. :(

IMHO #TVSeries should come with a budget to wrap up a storyline in case they get cancelled, because it's very unlikely they'll get picked up by a different network...

I liked watching it with her, but it was hard at times to not spoil things or not being able to fully discuss the episodes because I'd already seen S2 before.
Now we can both start with S3 at the same time though. :D
