I am actually quite glad #MelBrooks is still working on films while being a centinerian. We need #Jewish creators, especially ones who remember #WorldWar2. People who can turn tragedy into comedy, and make #spoof and #parody of everything. Even those #sequels he teased about in his films, but refused to make for fifty years. Waiting fifty years to make a sequel almost makes it even more comical.

While I do often enjoy modernised retelling of old IP, like Gundam: The Origin, I'm kind of getting wary of it, like why do we need to retell this story? I'm now more interested in sequels and spin offs that show deep respect and love to the original and does so much to expand on it, than to rewrite it. In the context of Gundam, I have a renewed respect for Gundam Unicorn than I did when I first saw it.
