Well, the [official] challenge is to do custom theming for your blog in September (particularly bear blogs), but I took it as a challenge to come up with a theme for September and write on it every day.

My theme is gratitude, which I feel is in short supply in a time as divisive and frankly horrible as we're living in now. That's obviously not a "you should smile more" idiot snark directed at those expressing pain and hurt over real issues they're facing, but that's just me talking to me, trying to find ways to be more positive when I'm so naturally predisposed to decry the negatives.

So, if you want to follow along, I'd challenge you to do the same, but to pick any level of challenge you like. You can do the theming challenge, or the pick-a-theme-and-write-on-it challenge, or you can specifically choose to write about gratitude for the month of September.

I guess it needs its own hashtag now: #SeptemberGratitude?
