Sepia Search zeigt Videos und Kanäle an, die deiner Suche entsprechen, ist aber weder der Herausgeber noch der Eigentümer. Wenn du Probleme mit einem Video feststellst, melde es den Administratoren der PeerTube-Website, auf der das Video veröffentlicht wurde.

With #HolosSocial, we introduced the same feature that is on #Fedilab to discover videos from the Fediverse thanks to #SepiaSearch (https://sepiasearch.org).
#PeerTube devs offered this option, which is really helpful for discovering new content on their platform.
We might introduce peer-to-peer streaming soon when watching PeerTube videos, with an option to disable this behavior.
Their API is used to display the content, then actions work through ActivityPub.

It is great to see the #PeerTube ecosystem gaining substance. I did not really study this quantitatively, but I find myself ever more often having luck trying a #SepiaSearch before a #duckduck video search. There are some genres very well represented, in particular the more nerdy stuff, naturally.
On #MakerTube where I help moderation, I see an actual clear increase in users and daily content creation.
Why doesn't #duckduckgo include results from the peertube-verse?

As far as I've researched #Meilisearch is capable of delivering the content that already #SepiaSearch indexes.
Each video will open in its original instance i.e. new tab.
Bonus features:
- "Subscribe" to channels by just storing them in localStorage and influence the Meilisearch ranking
- Related videos (unfortunately requires OpenAI API key) API that can be also embedded to the #peertube instances -
@Mrfunkedude as others said it's both.
The real power of #peertube will shine as more people will use it.There is one problem of peertube at the moment. As you mentioned great videos exist with almost no views.
I'm thinking about forking and refactoring #SepiaSearch to build a centralized frontend for peertube so that videos become more discoverable.

#Firefox allows you to add new search engine keywords by right clicking on a search field at a site and picking "add a keyword for this search"
#Peertube has a search engine that searches across instances called #SepiaSearch at https://sepiaSearch.org
But Firefox creates a broken search when you do this. Fix it by changing the search URL to add "search" between the / and the ? like so:
https://sepiasearch.org/search?search=%s
Now you can search for videos by typing in the search bar like:
