I'm working with Sentinel 2 data in python. Anyone with experience or insight about OpenEO for accessing and processing the data? I've used the eo-learn package with SentinelHub before, but seems it's not actively developed anymore. There seems to be some push for OpenEO, but not sure if I should migrate or not.

No free usage of @sentinel_hub anymore? @sinergise published a blog on moving from Sentinel Hub to Copernicus Browser. They said Copernicus Browser offers the same intuitive functionality as Sentinel Hub EO Browser, but is easier to use and free long-term.

To me, this reads like #SentinelHub will become a paid service for commercial customers. Probably not a big deal, as #CDSE remains free, but an interesting development.

And this is closer to what it actually looks like on the ground (from the 30th July - there is currently cloud over the area) - image here taken from #ESA's #Sentinel2 mission - which is one of the BEST things that has ever happened in #EarthObservation, processed on #SentinelHub's #EOBrowser - which is maybe the 2nd best..

For really basic start check out snapplanet.io - it's an incredibly easy to use app on your mobile phone, has different automatic filters and allows you to make gif timelapse as well as photos, like these examples I made on my phone . All based on #ESA's #Sentinel2 imagery

I have missed the last week of #30DayMapChallenge but this #AccidentalMap in #Sentinelhub #EOBrowser fits perfectly in today's theme #blue.

Here's a #5MinuteMap of SW #Greenland ( #Kapisillit ) showing #SeaIce forming in #fjords, #icebergs + some odd features I assume are shadows cast by #mountains under a low solar angle.

I'm not sure what the black dots are, I assume a processing artefact
