@quillforall Question:
What database does this application pull from? I ask because all 10 streams are available on the #BrailleSense & #SensePlayer, but not Simulcast, which is a podcast and radio app for Apple devices, which is currently in Beta. Simulcast only lists the first 5 streams & pulls its radio information from Radio-browser.info. -

@keao @ChrisDuffley I want to check out the #BTBraille, when I'm in Dallas. I also need to get both my #BrailleSense & #SensePlayer looked at. It was incredible chatting with you all last night! We should seriously do it again, soon! Hey, Perhaps, some of us may get the opportunity to work each other on #FieldDay2025, which in & of itself, would be amazing! :)

Speaking of the sense player, since vocalizer is gone from the play store, there aren't many paid TTS engines left, are there? Just another reason to open up the TTS system to the entire player. #SensePlayer #Eloquence

for anyone that has a #SensePlayer I would like you to try the following.
1. Completely power down your SensePlayer, wait about 20 seconds and then power it back on.
2. Once your player fully boots up, listen to a book, or some audio files for a little bit, but do not touch the FM radio yet.
3. note where your battery level is, and then put your player to sleep for a couple hours.
4. Now turn your player on, and use the FM radio for a little bit. It doesn't have to be long, and then press the home button.
5. Check what your battery level is at, and again put your player to sleep for a couple hours.
6. Wake it up, and check what your battery level is at.
7. If you noticed a decent drain on the battery, completely turn off your player again, and wait a little bit, and turn it back on.
8. Repeat steps 2, and 3.
if I am correct you should notice a much bigger battery drop once you have used the FM radio on your player. when I don't use my FM radio if I let it sleep a couple hours I might lose around 2 percent, but if I use my FM radio, and then put it to sleep I lose that same 2% in about 30 minutes. Can anyone else confirm this?
