    Brisbane station #4KQ finished up with "The End" by The Beatles (from Abbey Road), followed by the fading out of chirping crickets before #SENQ took over. The frequency is still in use, but now it's 24/7 sports waffle.

    I'm too young to remember 4IP becoming RadioTAB, so no idea what they did.

    As for the callsign; W6OBB/sk -- sk = "silent key", i.e. an operator that's no longer with us.
