An admin from another Fediverse site noticed someone pressuring a user for money — a predatory tactic often used against seniors and disabled individuals. When the admin reported this behavior privately, another admin or moderator retaliated by mass-reporting a bunch of their unrelated posts. Many of these were completely harmless, featuring photos of cute bunnies and animals.
The goal was clearly to trigger a snap judgment from moderation tools. However, that moderator didn't realize they were false-flagging a fellow admin on the Fediverse.
