If you missed it, someone majorly messed up.
An admin from another Fediverse site noticed someone pressuring a user for money — a predatory tactic often used against seniors and disabled individuals. When the admin reported this behavior privately, another admin or moderator retaliated by mass-reporting a bunch of their unrelated posts. Many of these were completely harmless, featuring photos of cute bunnies and animals.
The goal was clearly to trigger a snap judgment from moderation tools. However, that moderator didn't realize they were false-flagging a fellow admin on the Fediverse.

Not all admins/mods are good people, and sometimes you get proof of that fact. That includes taking advantage of the elderly and disabled.
The scam group known as Gaza Verified continues to do what scam groups do. That includes pressuring people — especially the elderly and disabled — into giving them large sums of money.
Unfortunately, reporting this behavior, even when it seems obvious, may not personally win you any favors, as someone recently learned.

They're one of their so-called supporters. Although, I haven't yet updated the GIT. The next update will have over 50 or so new accounts. "

"" That whole domain is in my blocked domain list for a reason. There are some sites that are complicit and other sites I suspect are in on it. Until a couple of weeks ago I hadn't eaten at a #Chinese #Restaurant in about 40 #years.Diana and I went to one a couple of weeks ago while staying in #Cheshire for a few days. We went to the "Chinese Delight" in Frodsham and had their "#Banquet for Two" as we weren't sure what to order.
I failed to take any photos of the soup course and only started as I was half way through the next one, but these are some of the images I sent on our family WhatsApp Group. We hadn't realise quite how much we had ordered, when looking at the menu. These days we usually feel quite full on those lunchtime "#SeniorCitizen Discount Deals".
