Mein Mann hat nochmal #Semlor gebacken. Die gibt’s in Schweden immer am Faschingsdienstag und man isst sie mit #Mandelmassa, #Sahne, #Puderzucker und #Milch.

I've done a lot of work this season in expanding and improving my website with reviews of Semlor (the Swedish lent bun).

I'd be really interested to get feedback from people regarding the accessibility of it. Is there anything that isn't great and could be improved?

Combining Swedish and Portuguese traditions, Part II!

Made #vegan #semlor (plural of #semla ) a traditional Swedish pastry eaten a lot around Easter. It has cardamom and almond flavours.

Fettisdagen betyder fet tisdag. Det är en av våra mest firade matdagar & det äts semlor i nästan varje hem. Själva fettisdagen är 13 februari i år & under hela säsongen hinner vi med runt 50 miljoner semlor i landet. Vi har ätit semlor på fastlagsdagen sedan medeltiden & det sägs att kung Adolf Fredrik dog pga att glupskts ha stoppat i sig 14 hetväggar år 1771.
Så, ät varsamt & med måtta 😉
