They were definitely not the nameless, faceless corporate juggernaut that all other airlines were. I was using Rapid Reward points, as I have many times before, but now it turned out that, unless willing to pay an exorbitant amount of points, which I did not have, I’d have to pay for my reserved seats, unless I was okay with being smushed in the way back of the plane by the bathroom. And you have to pay for every leg of your trip individually. So, for my round trip with a plane change, my wife and I had to fork over $228.
