The current fort dates back to 1892, a previous one to 1852, and has been a gathering place for First Nations for over 8000 years.
The Selkirk First Nation manage the site, including the campground, and are working on preserving and restoring many of the buildings.
Visitors can explore the buildings freely, restored or not. It's amazing!

Le naturaliste est à l'un des endroits sur terre où la biodiversité est la plus grande, rien de tel pour s'émerveiller.
Mais, comme Alice, il court après le temps. Sans avoir effectué la dérivée mathématique, il pousse les limites de la fonction jusqu'à ses derniers retranchements. Seule une inconnue le fait ralentir, son quadriceps droit et sa douleur associée. Chi va piano, va sano e va lontano.
