  13. In this striking vertical composition, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall stands tall and radiant under a clear blue Icelandic sky. The silky, vertical flow of the water creates a mesmerizing contrast against the rugged basalt cliffs and vibrant green slopes. The soft mist gathers at the base while the river in the foreground gently guides the viewer’s gaze.

  16. It me! (Photo courtesy of the spousal unit.) I never had any interest to walk behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall because I hate getting drenched. Been there a couple of times before and resisted but this time I thought YOLO! and I did the thing, and at Gljufrabui waterfall too. Was well soaked after, but at least my top stay dry thanks to the raincoat. Now I won't have to do any of it ever again. It's done!

  17. #Seljalandsfoss, #Iceland

Visitors stand below Seljalandsfoss, one of the most famous waterfalls in a country where there are about 10,000.

Seljalandsfoss, a tourist hotspot in the south of Iceland, takes its source from the Eyjafjallajökull volcano glacier, and is formed by the Seljalands River pouring from a height of about 60 metres.
