No fragrance or essential oils added-- its all natural baby.

I spend a lot of time finding and testing recipes to sell online, at farmer's markets, and at the roadside stand I set up on my family's property in the summer.

That is in addition to other things I sell, like stickers and candles.

What are some things you would stop by and check out and consider buying, knowing it was created and produced locally?

I've already got vegetables down, anything excess from my garden I turn around and sell or give away. We also sell our chicken's eggs when we have an abundance.

But what about hot sauces? Baked goods? Home goods you could be interested in? Jewelry?

I don't intend to make a full time job out of selling these items, unless that is somehow how it pans out. Plus, being in Wisconsin, I can't just have a roadside stand up all year.

Anyone got ideas for me?

Slowly but surely, my garden for this year is coming together.

There's still a lot of work to do, but we're getting there!

Those two trellises along the back wall have been the bane of my existence for... a couple years now. I've tried them a few different places and never really liked how they looked.

My garden has always felt like it was lacking In height, so I'm hoping that training the cucumbers and tomatoes planted in front of them up, I'll get what I've been looking for.

Ignore the weeds... I'll deal with those last.

We are officially six weeks from May 1st, here in SE Wisconsin. That means 8 weeks to last frost.

I am absolutely thrilled to have started my plants as early as I did. It gives me time to get them bigger and stronger, as well as do a second sowing of anything that does not do well, or anything I want a second plant/second planting on.

This weeks goals are to get my 4-6 week seeds planted, and get some of my cold hardy plants outside.

On top of that, I have another raised bed to build (8x4x1), trellises need to be moved and/or placed, the ground needs to be mulched, and I need to finish weeding what I can.

Planting/garden/farm season is about to be in FULL SWING and I couldn't be more excited.
