estimated costs to travel in the most economic car in the market today: ahoxus.org/ioniq, without accounting for the assets costs (how much the car is worth).

+ € 0.02 to 0.10 / km = electricity
+ € 0.10 / km = tolls
+ € 0.05 / km for everything else (about the car)

electricity can vary wildly, especially after the ukrainian way, and still even get acquired for free.

in a typical day, traveling less than 100km near home, will cost 7eur. keep in mind that 5 of those nobody usually calculate for personal use, but i often do for myself. a bit over a year ago, electricity could go for 1 cent, but not anymore.

in the typical expensive scenario, driving 100km far from home will cost 20eur (because tolls usually go for 50% the way).

in the most expensive scenario i can imagine right now, it will go to 30eur, because electricity can cost even more than 10 cents.

on top of all this, i feel like driving in itself should cost at least 20 cents per km... just by extrapolating from taxi costs. but that will always be very complex to calculate. or at least until #aloze gets done. 😁

but anyway, i started this post to #comment on why #ahoxus led to no posts?! pretty sure i did post it at least once.

in any case, ahoxus.org houses all my projects and the home page needs to get seriously revamped into gemini style.

here i wanted to name a few of my hustles: #land #paradise #uproot #aloze #abotz #achoz #laundry and the newest one probably here named for the first time #webhome = for name server, basic #tilde hosting, email, and #fediverse of course.

also, a self public/transparent reminder: i hate how content doesn't get properly versioned, like #writefreely, pleroma profile editing, and hate how pleroma still doesn't work without javascript (as far as i can tell).

yesterday i learned the butterfly effect, you know, the movie that made the term popular, had 2 significantly different endings.

i even forgot i had watched at least 3 different endings already, increasingly worse ones.

i wished they would at least drop the unnecessary pagination that makes reading through the good parts very painful.

i get it, we need #instantfeedback to keep on providing better content suited to our audience... but we can simply use javascript for that! and offer a #noscript functioning alternative!

like this pleroma instance will follow one day, after ahoxus.org nice example.

less than 2 weeks ago, on a friday, i started to develop yet another side project: ahoxus.org/laundry after getting inspiration from a tiktok about laundromats (among many other life developments).

yesterday i went to the streets (mostly inside the vreal town's university, utad) searching for support to this and the whole ahoxus project. and i took many notes elsewhere, in portuguese, which i shall eventually translate back here somehow...

today i wanted to do the same as yesterday, but my quest ended much earlier!

for more context,

last friday (exactly 1 week after the beginning in the laundry quest, if i made no miscalculations) i got a contract proposition in which we would pay 1500 euros for 3 months of dedicated services to build the business plan which we could use for moving the laundromat project forward with perspective partners *and* applying for sponsors...

so today i went first to "domus institute" to ask for legal advice on this contract proposition. they only re-enforced what i heard yesterday: look for a lawyer, portugal doesn't seem to offer any free or low cost labor (such as internships from university students) for such minor work that we might need.

then i went to a second lawyer, the cheapest in the area i've met previously. he would charge 60 EUR to do the work, with some room for small revisions.

finally i went to #nervir (as advised by fernando, my beloved land owner partner), an association with school formation around law topics and could finally talk with someone, fatima, who could help! not only that, they offer the same services as the expensive start pme but for free, in association with the government groups.

(i also saw an ad there for 4inova.pt which i still haven't entered to see.)

so, next, i will sign up as an unemployed person in the government (iefp) so we can later apply to the programs. then we will finally constitute the ahoxus organisation. which will also allow us to get do funding and open some internships for the university.

(believe me, all these words might sound like a lot, but they come as a simple result of much work and life enjoyment, which includes all the downsides on the way.)

coincidentally, i couldn't think of better tags for this post. basically the same category as the previous announcement! 🤣

ever since my U$1k issue with #evilgoogle, when they stole it from to force me using #thefuckingpixel3, i started to think about going to court for the first time in my life, after some 38 years in.

but i didn't. because, as it turns out, i do not live in america, so i have virtually zero rights. and that makes everything around going to court for #thefuckingpixel3 (search the web for cregox pixel3 google should bring you an updated link) nearly impossible.

last november i got denied to enter the usa, to visit my family, for the last time. spent well over U$3k (or nearly 30% of my yearly income) trying for over 7 times. on november, #deniedboarding for the second time! it almost feels like the agents who did it, did it with pleasure. almost.

anyway, i told this story too many times already. i will continue to try and make it good, but today i came here to write about one of my #awesomeideas! whenever i share those with people, they become speechless in awe! 🤣

yesterday i spoke with a local lawyer in person. he had a non smoking sign. at some point, he asked me if he could smoke... afterwards, he removed the small sign from the wall with his nails!! or at least started to try. 😳

more importantly, i talked extensively with him about the whole #deniedboarding story. and he offered me help for €60 (apparently a big discount on the lawyers world), send the airline company a letter so they will pay me back the tickets they keep promising they will but never do. he thinks it's 50/50 chance they will comply and, if they don't, he have no idea how much it will cost us to follow through, but probably not much except a lot of work.

he also thinks going for more money in portugal will never bring good results, as it will cost more than the money we can take.

i disagree, but i don't know shit practice about it. i do know that my logic works better in theory, and that the law should be the best academia science we have around logic. skepticism surely wins, but it does not constitute science or academia on its own. in fact, academia goes very far from logic, in general. especially medicine.

in any case, i need to wait more and see if they do now, on my last direct attempt to a friendly settlement with them. i promised i won't get in touch again outside the court. and i asked for nearly 50% money, 300eur. they promised to pay something.

now the idea...

i offer to pay the lawyer 102 EUR (how much it would cost me to start the process myself). if we win, that's it. process over.

if they don't pay, we go to court and he doesn't charge me for anything except court costs. then, if we win, he just pay me back the 102 and keep everything else. if we lose, we lose.

i want to make this right. but i have no idea if i can follow through because of how much #energeia this will take. i only know that i can't pay the whole bill upfront with my income today. and for the rest of energy needed, well, let's just say i might get away from europe (hopefully to an island like palau or new zealand) in the next 10 years. although i think the chances of that happening rose from 50/50 ever since i discovered #tamera back in 2019. probably less than 30% chances, in fact. and i only keep it bigger than 5% thanks to the #peaceindex + my visit to nz back in 2011 or so.
