I can laugh about it now but this WAS literally me last night... And then I had a nightmare that it WAS #melanoma and I hadn't noticed it in time so it had already metastasized 🙃
Anyway y'all #skinCancer is real, go to a licensed #dermatologist at least every few years and get yourself a full body check. Also look for the ABCDE signs of possible skin cancer: Asymmetrical Shape, irregular Border, changes in Color, Diameter, and Evolving. I’m sorry… I know that someone looking into our community from the outside may think ‘Surely statistically many who ‘self-diagnose’ must be wrong?’
In my experience this is not the case.
Out of all the #ActuallyAutistic ppl I speak to I can’t tell the difference between offcially & self-diagnosed; and I’ve never met a self-diagnosed person and thought, ‘they’re wrong’.
