    Five years ago, I pushed past every limit — cleaning nonstop, running stairs, and opening a box full of ancient dairy horrors 📦🤢

    I woke up horribly sick, and I’ve been healing ever since. 😮‍💨

    I know I’m not the only one learning to listen to my body, to rest, and to rebuild at my own pace.

  15. Long Weekends & Life Reminders: You Never Know...[2of2]

    My Road to Recovery was:
    1. A month of insulin injections at home
    2. With my doctor's blessing and family support, a temporary vegetarian diet, combined with exercise and fasting.
    3. This helped me lose 15 lbs. to get off insulin.

    Now, I maintain my health and stay diabetes-drug-free with regular seasonal fasts. It was a stark reminder that some sacrifices are indeed worth it to safeguard our well-being.

    The takeaway? We must prioritize self-care. It's not a luxury, it's vital.
