It all started with a projector in a church...
That moment sparked a journey that led me from church media to becoming a self-taught Broadcast Technician in mainstream television.
Tomorrow, God willing, I'll share the full story on abkarikari23.tech—how curiosity, faith, volunteering, and continuous learning shaped my broadcasting career.
Stay tuned!

With an estimated IQ between 250 and 300, William James Sidis could read The New York Times when he was just 18 months old. By the time he was six, he could speak multiple languages, including English, French, German, Russian, Hebrew, and Turkish. At one point, Sidis even invented a brand-new language of his own. He entered Harvard at age 11 and graduated at just 16, at which point many were convinced that Sidis was the smartest person who ever lived, and they were eager to see what he would do next. But despite his unparalleled intelligence, he had no interest in changing the world or staying in the limelight. Instead, Sidis told reporters, "I want to live the perfect life. The only way to live the perfect life is to live it in seclusion." And that's exactly what he did, taking on menial jobs to avoid drawing attention to himself, and ultimately dying penniless and alone.

music & miles & maintenance
didn’t get any freeCodeCamp (fCC) done this afternoon, but honestly the day still got used up pretty well, so i’m not exactly filing a complaint with the universe. i’ve been cleaning my room, rearranging a bunch of stuff, and doing that weird domestic shuffle where everything looks slightly worse before it looks better, but it's finally feigning more towards that latter half. the kind of progress that makes you question your own decisions for a minute and then, somehow, still feels […] -
humble chaos
medical transporter this morning was amazing. looks like a Vinny Raffa Jr though lol. he had dope music blasting when he picked me up — Smoking Popes, “Days Just Wave Goodbye” — which is already a pretty strong way to start the day before TMS.i’m on my way to my TMS session now, then i’ve got freeCodeCamp(fCC)’s Absolute and Relative Units Quiz, and then onto Pseudo Classes and Elements next. probably going to take a pause after the Design A Greeting Card Workshop, because […] -
design quiz complete, ramen loading, [fake] flyer pending
blew through the rest of freeCodeCamp (fCC)’s Design Fundamentals, took the Quiz, and aced it, then finished out the rest of Design like it was just another thing on the checklist (which it was) and not just a small victory disguised as a daily task (which it was not). there’s something weirdly satisfying about getting through a whole chunk of theory and then realizing you actually kept your brain in the room the entire time. that feels like a win. a real one. not the fake “i opened the […]https://blogguerz.wordpress.com/2026/06/02/design-quiz-complete-ramen-loading-fake-flyer-pending/

less foggy, more forward-y
tonight was a decent little victory lap. i finished the rest of freeCodeCamp’s User Interface Design Fundamentals, and tomorrow i’m stepping into the first stretch of User-Centered Design. the brain is clocking out, but the momentum is still doing laps around the block like it pays rent. Empty Apartment Satellite-Parking Lot on a Cold, Brisk Night i also got a bunch of real-life nonsense handled, which is always suspiciously satisfying. room cleaning and rearranging got knocked down a […]https://blogguerz.wordpress.com/2026/06/01/less-foggy-more-forward-y/

pause unpaused. postcard is live. pause again. then, back to it!
glad i took another break after shipping the blog postcard. it’s live now! which still feels good every time i say it out loud. i posted the screenshot, linked it back to the postcard, and let the whole thing close the loop properly and all. right now, i’m just stepping away for a minute. gonna go on a walk, bounce my racquetball around, and keep my hand coordination alive while the rest of me cools off. little things like that matter more than they look like they should. they keep me […] -
the postcard is still alive (but not live yet), the lessons were easier than expected, and i’m still moving [and alive]
today is turning into one of those days where the work is moving slower than the thoughts, but that’s not the same thing as falling behind. i’ve already pushed through the first chunk of fCC theory and quizzes, and honestly the first three lessons were easier than i expected; that felt good! not in some dramatic, life-changing way, just in that quiet little “oh, i’m actually getting this” kind of way that makes the rest of the day feel a little more possible. right now, i’m on […] -
BEC SPK 4 NY
i was just about to hit "Start Streaming" in OBS to go live on Twitch, but then i got an e-mail notification that New York! E-mail notification: New York reposted my blog Sooo, i just HAD to take a fast break, and cook up a quick BEC SPK to represent 😎 🥯 if u kno, u know; if u don’t; then u just haven’t been around New York Delis enough lol and for my NY Pinoy Gang, u kno i had to put that Jufran Banana Ketchup on em 🇵🇭 🍌 🌺 and for anybody who’s all gonna say, […] -
the view got wider, and so did the build lately
something has shifted in the way i’m moving through my own mind.for a while, i thought i was getting more focused. more disciplined. more locked in. but i’m starting to realize that what i called focus was sometimes just tunnel vision wearing a serious face. it looked productive from the inside because i was staring hard at one thing. but staring hard is not the same as seeing clearly. now the view feels broader; it palatial. i’m noticing more — the edges, the peripheries, the stuff […]https://blogguerz.wordpress.com/2026/05/31/the-view-got-wider-and-so-did-the-build-lately/

week 3 day 6→7: i did the lab and i’m pausing
tonight i: finished the freeCodeCamp styling lists & links lectures built the fCC stylized to-do list lab took long walks at a leisurely paces as my PomoGuerzo breaks did some “room cleaning” as a separate activity than “breaks”, because i believe that having them as a combined activity previously was really draining me, and honestly, doing it this way seems a lot better stopped before i got cooked. Being more hyperware of my state of being and my state of energy level plus state […]https://blogguerz.wordpress.com/2026/05/31/week-3-day-6%e2%86%927-i-did-the-lab-and-im-pausing/

Ever been told it’s “too late” to start over?
well I heard that too. Then I ignored it.
3 years later, my apps earn real revenue — and I love what I do.
Start small. Stay consistent. Bet on yourself. 💪

"Country Doctor (Night Call)," Horace Pippin, 1935.
I've talked about Pippin (1888-1946) before; he was a self-taught Black American artist who took up art as a sort of therapy after being injured in WWI. He painted scenes of everyday Black American life, and what he lacked in formal training, he made up for with passion, depth, a remarkable eye for design, and a flair for storytelling and depicting people's lives.
Here we have a scene in a wooded area in the midst of a snowstorm....but a man is slowly leading a horse, pulling a wagon, through the storm. It's not just a mere depiction of a winter scene, but a tribute to the resilience and dedication of a rural doctor, trudging through the storm to someone in need.
Pippin's most popular work are his depictions of Black life, many drawn from his childhood. He also did religious paintings and some historical paintings, mostly of his WWI experiences, but also a noted depiction of John Brown going to his execution, based on descriptions from his grandmother, who witnessed it. I find his work delightful.
From the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.

Did I ever publicly mention I've been (slowly) working on porting my #Asteroidians codebase from #Unity to #Monogame ?
Apparently that started June. 🙄
I spent today working on my replacement Coroutine sys, which has gotten some 👀❓from the Monogame discord.
I have specific needs for Coroutines though, for running game-simulation code over-time with my "deterministic lockstep sync" based #multiplayer architecture.
And it keeps code tidy! -
piece is just 10x10 inches, hence the ability to fit so many folks. It'll be a good time.)

no. there really isnt such a thing as "#exclusive #skillsets", only denial of access to the materials and #knowledge needed to learn those things.
no. #selftaught and #homeschooled are not "lesser" forms of #education. in fact, they can be, in my experience, faster and even more advanced ways of learning than "waiting your turn" to learn in crowded, inattentive #institutions that are more focused on their own agendas and testing for #compliance with outdated measures and standardized #thinking.

Sewists advice please !
I often need to mark pattern outlines onto dark / black and stretchy fabrics.
Examples: back of crushed velvets, jersey knit, fleece, and lycra blends.
What *reliable marking* method can I use that is NOT tailors stitches.?
Every time I try chalk I end up with a smudgy mess and water / erasable ink markers seem to only come in the colour blue? 🤷🏿♀️
Thanks in advance.
This feels like simple stuff but I'm confused and frustrated.

Trading gurus won't tell you this: $200 in books + real work beats any $2,000 course.
📚 The 5-stage process to consistent profitability doesn't require mentorships—just you, Minervini, O'Neil, Livermore, and actual effort.
Most quit after stage 1. Are you different?
