L’inspiration de la lune
Depuis la nuit des temps, la lune a traversé toutes les cultures et toutes les époques, comme une présence troublante, apaisante, et inspirante.
Elle a amené les humains à donner naissance à des mots qui portent sa lumière. Lunatique, celui que la lune rend instable, changeant, imprévisible. Lune de miel, ce temps suspendu après l’union, doux et éphémère comme une phase lunaire. En japonais, tsukimi, désigne la contemplation de la lune d’automne, une pratique esthétique en soi. La lune est si présente dans l’imaginaire qu’elle est devenue une métaphore de tout ce qui est beau et inaccessible.
Les peuples ont longtemps observé, et la science commence à confirmer partiellement que la lune agit sur les rythmes intérieurs. Les marées qu’elle gouverne dans les océans, elle semblerait les murmurer aussi dans le corps humain, fait d’eau à plus de 60 %.
La lune est peut-être le symbole amoureux le plus universel qui soit, elle est la même pour tous tout en étant vécue dans la solitude. Deux amants séparés par un océan peuvent regarder la même lune au même moment. Elle devient alors un lien silencieux qui les unit. Ce motif revient dans la poésie persane, chinoise, africaine, occidentale, comme si l’humanité entière avait eu cette même intuition.
Dans presque toutes les mythologies, la lune est associée au féminin, par exemple Séléné, Artémis, Isis, Ix Chel. Elle gouverne les cycles, les marées, les menstruations. Elle est à la fois la lumière dans la nuit (protectrice, douce) et celle qui croît et décroît (mortelle, cyclique). Son rapport au temps n’est pas linéaire, mais circulaire, ce qui en fait une figure de sagesse et de mystère plutôt que de puissance conquérante.
Ce que la lune fait peut-être de plus profond à l’humain, c’est de lui rappeler qu’il existe une beauté qui ne lui appartient pas. Elle est là, indifférente et splendide, depuis avant qu’il y ait des yeux pour la voir. La contempler, c’est sortir un instant de soi-même. Enfin, elle permet d’offrir un effet poétique, voir sa propre histoire être dépassée par quelque chose de plus grand.
Et ce sera une occasion particulière en mai 2026 qui compte deux pleines lunes la première ayant eu lieu le 1er mai, la Lune des fleurs, et la seconde le 31 mai la Lune bleue, qui est souvent associée à une énergie d’amplification, un moment propice à l’intention, à la clôture de cycles, et à l’ouverture vers l’inconnu.
