I have wondered if people with ME are more sensitive to infrasound. It would be interesting to monitor infrasound in their environment and see if there is a correlation with symptoms.
It seems that people vary a lot in their level of response, some being much more sensitive than average [14:03] & [14:40] .
Raspberry Shake 3D costs US$ 1,135 - a bit expensive. I still want one.

Here’s our Northern California seismograph for the M8.8 earthquake at Kamchatka. Impressive. Took about 10 minutes to reach our town. Not sure what the signal was 15 minutes before it though. #Earthquake #RaspberryShake #Seismograph https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/us6000qw60/executive

2025-03-10 02:33:14 M6.5, Jan Mayen region
I guess it is on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge...
Nice clear signal, not bad for 1670km away.

#earthquake M 7.0 - 63 km WNW of Petrolia, CA. Depth 0.6 km
Not seen one here for a very long time.
This is a very big shake and very shallow.
Did not feel it, but my #seismograph got a very clean signal. Very unusual shape to the heliograph. -
#Earthquake M6.1 at sea and M4.3 inland. Oregon.
Not often I have seen them up that way.
Nothing on my Southern California #seismograph yet. -
#earthquake M 6.4 - 57 km S of Panguna, Papua New Guinea Depth 41.0 km
Cant see anything of it on my or my Aust #seismograph (Mind you, its VERY windy in Victoria at the moment, very noisy heliograph). -

#earthquake. Normally I don't post any under M6, but since the 'MyShake' Android app woke me up and since its amazing to have two back to back and so clear on my #seismograph....
M4.8 and M4.5 near San Diego CA. -

Sitting quietly watching TV, working on an ACARS docker and did not feel a thing.
But, my #seismograph sure caught that M4.4 #earthquake near Los Angles just now. -
#earthquake M 6.4 - 125 km NW of Fangale’ounga, Tonga Depth 218Km
That's very deep. I doubt there is much threat of a tsunami from this one. Showed up on my Australian #seismograph. -
#earthquake. Initally at M7, but now M 6.7 - 100 km SE of Sarangani, Philippines. Depth 70.3 km
Picked up by my #raspberryshake #seismograph in Victoria Australia (at my Dads house). -
#Earthquake M 4.4 - 1 km WNW of Lytle Creek, CA. Depth 8.8 Km. 10:55 PST.
My wife felt it, but I did not (South of Los Angeles).
#raspberryshake #seismograph sure picked it up. -
Sitting quietly having first coffee when this guy pops up loud and clear on my #raspberryshake #seismograph. M4.1 #earthquake off the coast of Los Angeles.
-
Very large M7.3 #earthquake 125 km S of Isangel, Vanuatu. 35Km deep.
Picked up very clearly on my Dad #seismograph in Victoria Aust. -
Wow. Big M7.6 #earthquake in Mindanao, Philippines. It was 32Km deep. Very clearly picked up by my Dads #raspberryshake #seismograph in southern Victoria Australia.
I count around 9 M5+ quakes after that main event. -
4 days ago I posted about the massive M6+ #earthquake in the Banda Sea (North of Aust).
It was picked up by my Dads #seismograph clearly.
Well, turns out there were some #scuba divers recording at the time.
This is amazing!

Some major #earthquake activity the past few hours.
M4.6 to M7.1 all at the same 10km depth.
Our #raspberryshake #seismograph at Victoria Australia picked them up very clearly. Many rumbling for over 10 minutes. -
The first earthquake it hitting the news.

A second smaller quake has just been picked up on my #seismograph
Im trying to get some details on this smaller #earthquake just now. -
This is a bit deal for Australia!
M5.1 8km deep #earthquake near Apollo Bay in Victoria.
Here is the #seismograph trace from central Victoria. -
The Sawtooth fault area has been active recently including a 3.2 #Earthquake about 30 minutes ago. Captured on my #seismograph up in Salmon #Idaho

Time flies!
Today marks 125 years of seismic recording of #earthquakes in #Victoria, Canada!
On September 3, 1898, a Milne #seismograph began operation in the basement of the old Customs House building on the Victoria waterfront. It was one of the first seismographs in Canada (and one of very few operating in the world at the time):

3.9 #Earthquake in a very remote area of central #Idaho. This one seems a bit further north than I'd expect to be associated with the Challis Volcanics... I don't recall seeing an earthquake here before.
Graph as recorded from my #seismograph at my parents house in #Salmon.

3.7 #earthquake in Central #Idaho
This is another one around the #Challis Volcanics. This area has been fairly quiet for a few years but it's activity got on my radar again a few months back.Graph shown as recorded on the #seismograph at my parents' house in Salmon, ID.

3.9 #Earthquake at Lake Cascade, #Idaho.
Recorded on my #seismograph at my parents' house in Salmon, ID. -
3.0 #Earthquake in the Lemhi Mountains south of Salmon, ID (near Mill Lake / Falls Creek).
Nice clean recording on my #seismograph at my parents' house in #Salmon.
#Idaho #Geology -
My home #seismograph has been offline longer than I care to admit. (The seismograph I have at my parent's house in Salmon has been rock solid, so it wasn't a huge hurry)
The power supply (POE splitter) failed right before summer travels -- I turned off the monitoring & promptly forgot about it.
It's fixed & sitting in my office, where it'll stay until it's warm & dry enough I feel like pulling the concrete cap off its vault in the backyard to put it back in the ground.
-
3.4 #earthquake just west of the Payette River between Banks and Smiths Ferry #Idaho
Recorded on the #seismograph at my parents house in Salmon. (The seismograph at my house is offline, I really need to pull it out of the vault and figure out why).
