Decided to catch up on the Chucky movies for whatever reason. Seed of Chucky isn't the worst movie in the series, not as long as Child's Play 3 exists, but it's easily the most uneven. Half of a very interesting queer horror film, paired with half of the most generic post-Scream "ironic" meta slasher you can imagine.

Allerdings verlässt der Film diesen Pfad schnell wieder um ein bizarres Puppentheater mit Gore-Einlagen aufzubieten (samt skurriler Martial Arts Einlage im „großen“ Finale).
