I have a bunch of these free peat seed starters & am making them into guerilla seed-ball bombs by adding some compost soil/clay & assortment of native plant seeds & herbs/food plant seeds. They'll be easy to throw out, from my scooter or car window.

Hey solarpunks! Have you heard? Aleya will be hosting a solarpunk get-together on Monday, April 20! The Stellar Lunarpunk TTRPG Live Action Roleplay (LARP) Virtual gathering and Real Life Planting

Basically how it works is gathering virtually at the beginning of the day, creating your character according to The Stellar's guidelines, then spending the day planting things to collect as many points as you can.

If you've been procrastinating on your spring planting (or seedbombing the local abandoned construction site), this is a great way to get it done, and make friends and have fun along the way with other solarpunks.

Für ihre Studie „Schmetterlingswiese, #Bienenschmaus und #Hummelmagnet – #Insektenrettung aus der #Samentüte“ nahmen die Autoren Corinne Buch und Dr. Armin Jagel des Bochumer #Botanischen Vereins e. V. die kleinen Tütchen genauer unter die Lupe. Für ihre Untersuchungen fotografierten die Autoren die Samen der #Saatgutmischungen. Anschließend säten, bestimmten und dokumentierten sie fotografisch die sich daraus entwickelnden Keimlinge und #Pflanzen. Das Ergebnis der Studie ist ernüchternd und alarmierend zugleich. So hat das Aussäen weitreichende, aber leider nicht die beabsichtigten Folgen. #greenwashing
