It's time for the next toot in our #peoplebehindosco series.
Hi @hans 👋
Max studied International Business, because at the time he felt that computer science is out of reach. Though being naturally drawn to technology, he started his career as an IT Controller and quickly became the one who had to fix and create VBA macros. That ended up being a slippery slope leading to an interest in coding, automation and eventually the discovery of his passion for cyber security. Since then his work and free time have mostly revolved around studying and hands-on practise with the unrealistic goal to one day beat his imposter syndrome. At work he switched roles to Incident Response, Security Engineering and now IT vulnerability management. In his free time he likes to visit local meetups, attend conferences and learn more about the field. To unwind he likes to play video games, watch movies/series/youtube or listen to books and podcasts.
