In a ruling supporting both trans and transphobic athletes, #SecondCircuit en banc recognized cisgender students' ability to sue in the Conn. #TitleIX case alleging "discrimination" due to trans students participating in interscholastic sports consistent with their gender identity. The court DID NOT rule whether the claim has merits.
While the state opposed the grant of standing, trans students intervened to support plaintiffs' standing BUT not the ultimate result. #lawFedi
