  1. You can count on a sizeable court watch crowd and associated protest infront of the Federal Building at 915 2nd Ave this Friday the 13th.

Court starts at 9am and I'm sure the crowd will be monitoring the court proceedings and ICE activity closely.

  2. For the last two days there have been MASSIVE rapid protests in Seattle.

On the buses and trains I keep hearing the same conversation over and over as two friends run into each other on transit heading to the protests: "oh well this is my second protest ever, my first one was last week".

There's a TON of energy out there, just a question of finding the right ways to keep the pressure up on ICE locally.

  3. #ALERTA #CallToAction It is verified that tomorrow 7/9/205 ICE plans to carry out mass arrests at Seattle's immigration courthouse!

Bring your signs, your grandma, your black bloc, bring everybody you know to tell ICE to get the fuck out of Seattle 8am to 4pm TOMORROW!

Since the demos on June 10th ICE has been unable to arrest anyone at the court house but tomorrow will test Seattle's resolve.

  4. #breaking Reports of large crowds tonight at Cal Anderson park for the anti-fascist protest.

There's evidently a significant police standoff occurring.

Unclear what happened but at cops have least two reports of overdoses in the park (unconfirmed).

For some reason the fire department is waiting for a police escort to check on the alleged patients.

The crowd is growing "hostile" towards the cops according to cop scanners and reports OTG.

  5. 05-24-2025 - #Seattle - Cal Anderson Park

    Content Warning: Christofascism

On Fire Ministries showed up in Seattle this year to continue preaching #hate at Cal Anderson Park. They were met with local resistance for the entire event.

The event started with areas in front of the stage being open, but it wasn't long before SPD and hate group ministries started drawing lines.

In many instances it appeared people were stopped or blocked from certain areas based on nothing more than SPD or hate group ministries own perceptions.

Meanwhile #antifascist counter-protesters played contrasting music at both the north and west sides of Cal Anderson Park. Tables and local artists were also at the north and east sides.

During the event SPD brought in metal blocking gates and after maybe 5 minutes of them being up it was quickly recognized how easily they all collectively come down in a domino-effect once being pushed over. This was very upsetting to the Seattle Police Department and hate group ministries helped put the gates back up.

During the event SPD used excessive force while making aggressive, unnecessary arrests. SPD also unnecessarily utilized pepper spray which negatively impacted people who it was not intended for.

Pictured: Person being held face down on the pavement while an SPD officer appears to be holding the back of their head down.

Photos withheld: A person being arrested appeared to be dragged from their feet while face down over the top of a gate, which may have resulted in an injury. In another arrest, a person's body was unwantingly exposed.

Curiously it appeared the only supporters who showed up for the hate group were the ones they brought themselves. The group pulled in almost no local support at all.

Towards the end of the event for no less than 20-25min, SPD repeatedly claimed they were being blocked from leaving. At no point was SPD blocked from exiting the park. We're not sure what's worse, listening to SPD's constant whining or SPD exhaustively repeating false claims. SPD loudly making a variety of false claims occurs at essentially every similar event they show up for.

Last year this same hate group held the same event in #OlympiaWA at the Capitol, check out our post from last year: kolektiva.social/@iNFoPiG/1122

  6. The protest coverage on Twitter is good right now from Guy Oran. Who is doing that level of coverage here? #Seattle #SeattleProtest

  7. For at least the third time in the last week and a half a protest was held in Seattle to urge for the firing of Seattle cop Dan Auderer. Auderer has already been the cause of over $2M worth of legal costs due to prior instances of misconduct.

Who is this deeply rotten cop? None other than VP of the police union.

  10. 01-29-2013 #SeattleWA #SeattleProtest

Protesters and families in #Seattle joined today in #solidarity for the latest victims of #police violence and the recent tragic death of #JaahnaviKandula

    Say their names!

Conservatively on average in #America police killed at least 100 people a month in 2022, but that number doesn't include other law enforcement involved deaths.

Families, activists and protesters took turns sharing stories, outrage, sorrow and action plans for local communities.

Jaahnavi Kandula was recently killed while in a crosswalk by a Seattle Police Department persuit vehicle. So far #SPD has released few details on the incident.

Even today at the same crosswalk where Jaahnavi passed we witnessed more than several vehicles failing to stop for those who were crossing or waiting to cross.

Included in today's event were stories of a very long list of victims of police violence, the majority within just the last few years.

While different strategy or action ideas were brought up one thing was clear; many believe the overwhelming amount of funds given to police departments should instead be invested into communities. Another item among discussion was law enforcement historically referring to increased training as a proposed solution to America's police killing problems.

Flyers and information on upcoming events were shared, see ALT text of images for more info.

  11. Tonight will see 3 marches take place across Seattle against police violence.

After an international student died in a hit and run committed by an SPD officer in a marked squad car, we're learning the officer may face no discipline.

The only thing Seattle is dying of is its police infestation.
