This week's #GrindayFriday is the new '...Such is Life' EP by Seattle, Washington's IMPULSE NOISE. This is a grindy, dynamic bunch of songs - I really dig this one. Fast, heavy, quick - blink and you'll miss them. Not sure what a full length would sound like from these guys, but that would be wild-- hopefully eventually. Nothing gross here but some really extreme, cool stuff -- the powerviolence and speed but also some slower, riffy spots. I had this badass Soundgarden "Kickstand" shirt around 1995 probably that was done by an artist called Pushead. I wore it til it fell apart. Wish I still had it 😂 They sell for a lot now (see attached sold eBay listing, not mine).

That back graphic! 🔥 What a SONG, too. That first line, "Kickstand, you broke loose and I threw up" it's just like 🤯

Gee Tee is an underground sensation from Australia. Lo-fi, maxed out catchy little punk snippets. Some serious earworms here.
