So, ich glaube, ich habe jetzt alle Tickets für Berlin -> Lissabon per Zug zusammen. Ist ein bisschen irre. Sieben Mal umsteigen und auf vier verschiedenen Plattformen gebucht.
Ohne den #ManInSeat61 wäre das unmöglich gewesen.

The Man in #Seat61 seems like a relic from a forgotten age of the #Internet.
Seat61.com is a genuinely useful website created by just one guy, a train travel enthusiast who has curated a vast array of information that will help anyone who would like to travel in #Europe by #train
He is not trying to sell you anything and there are no adverts (apart from a few affiliate ids).
His website has won various "best travel website" awards. Notably the last one was in 2012.

I want to complain to #raileurope's data protection officer (I was using them because recommended by #seat61) but their webshite doesn't give me any way of contacting them. Not even a paper address! Just a useless chatbot
Does anyone have a backchannel?
Otherwise I will have to look up their details in Companies House or something. -

Saw a bit of #GreenWashing on #PolsatNews. The Pope went to the #WorldYouthDay in #Lisbon by plane. The news was about how that plane was more fuel efficient than others, instead of the #Pope giving a bad example. If even the moral leader of 1.3 billion #Catholics cannot be bothered to go by train, why should they? An opportunity to lead by example lost. #Vatican has its own #train station, a special train could've been arranged. For the rest of us #Seat61 shows options:
