First little sprinkle of snow this morning, quite early but we do get some Arctic winds late autumn. I am hoping the used velcro winter boots arrive in time for my weekend sea swim as my fingers weren't much good at tying my laces last week after the dip. #seaswimming #adidas

Terns (likely common terns) flying over the sea and keeping us raucously company on our evening sea swim 🙂 🏊♂️
swim was long and lovely, with sunshine and an ~equinox new moon high high tide and really calm sea
lots of chattering, lovely swooping flying, graceful dives, and fishies spotted in beaks.

A few months ago there was some joking around with my swim coaches about swimming the English Channel, and I was all like "haha, very funny, there's no way I'm doing that."
Well, I'm doing that. I've joined a Channel relay team, and next August the six of us will attempt to swim from England to France together.
And now I am freaking out.
