This might appeal more to the #6Music crowd than the Top of the Pops crowd.
This Friday (i.e. tonight!), BBC Four, 10pm. "The Story of Microdisney: The Clock Comes Down the Stairs".
"To their fans, Microdisney were one of the greatest bands of all time. But most people have never heard of them. This is the story of a huge talent that went largely unrecognised."
I had the immense pleasure and privilege of a few years working with Cathal long after he gave up the professional music business, before his very untimely death. He was not only a hugely talented musician but a very intelligent and kind man.
If you have any interest in music at all, do watch this or catch-up later on iPlayer. I'm expecting it will be a fantastic programme.

Eventually the fog thickened & flattened all the light up & down the valley, but, until then it was a calm & quiet time watching shapes & colours shifting.

I began reading ‘Faith, Hope And Carnage’ by Nick Cave & Seán O’Hagan while running a time lapse watching fog roll in through the valley below Priest’s Leap, County Cork, Ireland.
As I held the book in my hand this quiet moment felt appropriate to note.
