Another type of troll I experienced today was the DARVO troll, which has a lot of overlap with Sea-Lioning. Darvo stands for: "Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender." While the point of sealioning is to drain your energy, what makes DARVO different is the goal is to flip the script to make you the bad guy for having a boundary.
When you set a boundary like "I do not want to debate this," continuing to reply is a form of trolling.

I have a friend that I've been friends with since high school. I like my friend, but he's drinking the AI Kool-Aid.
We went to dinner last January and I told him I didn't want to talk about AI as I hate Generative AI. It's been a year so I guess he's decided he waited long enough.
I use Linux. Because Linus Torvalds used AI to vibe code something recently, my friend has taken that as an opening to talk to me about AI again.

Okay, gegen das massive Sealioning gegen Klimawissenschaft von "Quasselstrippe" nimmt sich der Leugner-Account "Quentmeier" schon wieder recht langsam und alt, fast seriös aus...
Echt bemerkenswert, wie schnell digitales Trolling mutiert! Tip: Trolle eher nicht füttern, sondern zu anderen Themen konstruktive Druko-Dialoge starten. Das ärgert sie am meisten... :-)
