Für einen Raspberry Pi 3+ war das für eine Dateicloud irgendwann schlichtweg zu viel. Wir haben uns OpenCloud angeschaut und haben den Anbieter gewechselt.

Сегодня полдня воевала с отвалами Seafile на Raspberry Pi 5. Были постоянные 502 ошибки, перезапуски и обрывы соединений.
​Вскрытие показало, что MariaDB решила поиграть в современные технологии и включила io_uring по умолчанию. Но ядро малинки супер-возложило на это (EPERM). В итоге пёр бесконечный цикл падений и приветственное Connection refused в логах самого Seafile.
​Принудительно отключаэила native-aio в конфиге базы и выдала ей чуть больше памяти (innodb_buffer_pool_size=512M), благо на пятерке ресурсов хватает. Пока нормально, рулим дальше.

I spun up Seafile last night to replace my bloated Nextcloud setup (which I hadn't really used beyond WebDAV for Obsidian notes & Floccus bookmark syncing).

Documentation was definitely lacking. It didn't help that Google took me to their obsolete v11 instructions instead of the current v13, and I dumped an hour or two into fighting the jank around that.

Seafile seems much less bloated.

Though I wonder if I should worry that it's developed in China?

Moin Marcel, nutze #Yunohost auf VServer bei Strato und #Umbrel als Home-Server in den eigenen vier Wänden über #wireguad um von außen Zugang zu bekommen. Der VServer mit #Yunohost wird mir einfach zu viel angegriffen, laut #fail2ban Protokoll, siehe Bild. Das war die Motivation #umbrel zu nutzen und dort meine privaten Daten zu speichern und mit #seafile zu synchronisieren. Das klappt prima👍

Derzeit steht bei #umbrel mein erstes Upgrade an (siehe Foto), das wird spannend für mich, ob dann noch alles läuft.😉

Weiterhin klappt nach meinem Umzug der Fernzugriff über #wireguard an der Fritz!Box nicht mehr, weil mein Provider #deutscheglasfaser da irgendwie herumzickt. 🔴 Home-Server mit Umprel
~~ Erfahrungsbericht ~~

🍁 Seit Juli 2025 nutze ich jetzt lokal zu Hause einen eigenen kleinen Mini-Server mit #umbrelos und ich muss sagen der läuft bis jetzt ohne Probleme. Einmal eingerichtet und schon läuft alles. Die Einrichtung mit #wireguard erlaubt mir auch den Zugriff vom Büro aus.

Daher eine klare Empfehlung für Umbrel 🏅

Es läuft auf #umbrel bei mir derzeit #seafile, #jellyfin und #heimdal sehr gut.

This weekend, I am going to give myself sometime to try out #SeaFile. I tried to get NextCloud set up, but I don't want to buy stuff for external access. I want SeaFile set up for my kids so they can have basically unlimited file storage and access without using #BigTech that would mine their data. В наше время большинство пользователей хранят файлы в том или ином облачном хранилище: Google Drive , Яндекс.Диск , Dropbox , OneDrive и т. д. Благодаря низкой стоимости такие сервисы очень популярны. Их аудитория оценивается более чем в 4 млрд человек, а объём хранимых данных — порядка экзабайта. Почти все провайдеры шифруют файлы на своих серверах. Но если сам провайдер скомпрометирован, такая система не обеспечивает никакой защиты. Поэтому отдельные сервисы реализовали сквозное шифрование (E2EE), когда не сервер, а пользователь контролирует ключи шифрования. В основном, эти сервисы предлагают услуги для коммерческих клиентов. Например, MEGA , Nextcloud , Sync , Tresorit , Seafile , Icedrive и pCloud . К сожалению, реальность далека от рекламных заявлений. Независимое исследование показало, что все перечисленные провайдеры страдают от уязвимостей и архитектурных изъянов.

Компания Microsoft сегодня (или с 1 апреля ) блокирует доступ к облачным сервисам для корпоративных клиентов из России. С этого дня хранилище OneDrive станет недоступно, как и 50 других сервисов Microsoft . Аналогичная ситуация может сложиться с сервисами Amazon и Google. Это вызовет некоторые проблемы у компаний, хранящих файлы в облаке. Если у пользователей нет резервных копий, им придётся в экстренном порядке переносить их на другой сервер, спасая с «тонущего корабля». К счастью, на этот случай есть удобные инструменты вроде Rclone , который одной командой копирует файлы с популярных облачных хостингов на свой сервер.

@hopidd Entschuldigt die späte Antwort: Momentan ist alles in fester Hand von #Zoom, alternativ nicht weniger proprietär #AdobeConnect und #DFNConf. Die box.hu-berlin.de (#Seafile Pro) ist wenigstens clientseitig #FLOSS. #gnuHU hat die [Arbeitsgruppe Dezentrale Dienste](https://hu.berlin/agdd) als kleines gallisches Dorf gegründet (#Jitsi #Mumble). #BigBlueButton und #Matrix sind zumindest als offizielle HU-Dienste geplant, produktiv genutzt werden sie aber zum Semesterstart noch nicht.
