if you're this desperate to move away from discord but you consider guild system essential, try hopping on root and see if it's your thing

if you're looking for E2EE and decentralization then scroll, that's not it
while it's in its infancy, imo it has ok foundation to be the more "normie" alternative; there's screensharing and VCs already, unfortunately no custom emojis/stickers (yet)

there's some issues with TOS but the devs clarified it will be officially rewritten - people got scared about "no porn" but it has been addressed that's not the case and it will be yoten from the guidelines
