Gleichzeitig ist diese durch unser Handeln massiv gefährdet: Wir befinden uns im größten Artensterben seit dem Ende der Dinosaurierzeit, welches maßgeblich durch den Menschen verursacht wird. Die Ursachen sind vielfältig: Zu den Hauptgründen zählen die Zerstörung bzw. Einschränkung natürlicher Lebensräume durch Landumwandlung zum Rohstoffabbau und der Lebensmittelproduktion. Aber auch Eingriffe durch massive Lärmbelästigung und künstliche Beleuchtung stören den natürlichen Rhythmus zahlreicher Lebewesen.
Gerade in der Weihnachtszeit versuchen wir mit verschiedenster Beleuchtung die dunkle Jahreszeit zum Leuchten zu bringen.
Leider kann das den Rhythmus der Tiere stören und sie aus ihrer Winterruhe oder Winterschlaf holen. Um unsere Umwelt zu schützen und gemäß des SDGs 15 „Leben an Land“ die Artenvielfalt zu bewahren, haben wir euch ein paar Tipps zusammengestellt.
