    Bei Armut denkt man oft in erster Linie an Staaten des globalen Südens, die in größeren Teilen von starker Armut und Hunger betroffen sind. Dagegen müssen wir uns als wohlhabendes Land unbedingt engagieren, um die Bedingungen für alle Menschen weltweit zu verbessern - egal wo sie leben.

    80 % der Fachkräfte melden Kürzungen im Sozialbereich (Praxischeck Caritas/Volkshilfe). Laut UN-Ziel 1.3 müssen wir bis 2030 ohnehin neue Basisschutzsysteme für alle einführen. Für mich ist das #BGE die Lösung: bedingungslos, universell & existenzsichernd. Statt Kosten im „Verschiebebahnhof“ zu verlagern, brauchen wir ein echtes Fundament!

    Charles Spurgeon was a particular Baptist preacher in London. He says that upon seeing very poor people in other countries, only a very “poor Christian” wouldn’t immediately thank God for giving them more. Not as they deserve.

    Some today would object, saying these poor kids chose regimes that voted against us in the UN, rejected free enterprise and godliness.
