Rained here in northern CA so i sat down to peen and sharpen my new scythe blade for the first time. Watched a how to video and with trepidation went for it. As it happens scythes need frequent peening and sharpening. I must say it went well, super sharp and only took about 10 minutes. Cuts tough weeds and vines like butter.
Custom made European style scythe, 24" heavy duty Austrian made ditch blade, cuts grass and tough weeds. Light and easy on the body, i can hear the birds sing quiet, no exhaust fumes, no gas, no electricity, no toxic batteries, no expensive repairs, blades can last a lifetime if cared for, and a hundred times fast than any weedwhacker.
