Great googly moogly, after fighting with Greenstuff, 2 part Apoxie, Paperclay, and Milliputt I've just tried Sculpey air dry porcelain clay for the first time.
It's like the transformation from mixing cement to wrangling Meringue.
How do people get fine details with this fluff?
I'm not complaining - my fingers loved it's velvety feel but it's SUCH a massive contrast!

I call this one "Protector of the toothpick realm"
I guess I do have a thing for tentacles 😆 and this little man protects the toothpicks with everything he got! Made from polymer clay and painted with acrylics 🎨

Die Kirsche und die Stachelbeere sind jedenfalls schon fertig modelliert. :D

Es regnet endlich mal richtig draußen. Bestes Lesewetter also. Und ich habe einen Gast, der es sich auf einem Buch gemütlich gemacht hat.
Eigentlich schläft Gjuki immer auf der "Leges et constitutiones" aber die hab ich hier nicht. Tricontium von @Ardeija scheint ihm aber auch bequem.
Also genieße ich die Tropfen auf der Fensterbank und höre leisem Drachenschnarchen zu.

Viel effizienter durchgekommen als erwartet! Ab jetzt hab ich Uuuuuuuurlaub! 🤩
Erstmal meine Zwerge bei #DwarfFortress beglücken, ein bisschen #Sculpey modellieren und dann meine #DSA Runde heute Abend vorbereiten. So viel Zeit noch übrig. Hach! Geilo.

Was treib ich so? Viel zu viel Nerviges im Moment, aaaaber auch ein kleines #Sculpey Projekt.
Und weil ich inzwischen zuversichtlich bin, dass es etwa so ausschauen wird, wie es soll teile ich hier mal ein paar WIP Bilder mit euch. Ich bin schon ein gutes Stück weiter, aber 🤫!

I made this Dubwool tissue box as a Secret Santa gift in 2020. It was a bit rough using polymer clay for the first time, but I love how everything came out in the end.
The head is made of polymer clay. The body is upholstery foam glued onto a wooden tissue box, covered in wool, then spray painted with spots.
