Merry Christmas to all that celebrate!
I'm watching Violent Night on this rainy Christmas Eve and I somehow completely forgot about the very funny cold open. I haven't seen this since the theater, but remembered liking it enough I grabbed the 4k release when I found it on sale.
I think I'll follow this up with Gremlins or Scrooged if I'm not too tired.

So my Xmas begins
Xmas eve tradition for as long as I've owned the movie, first on VHS, then on DVD and now for the first time... in 4K
Gremlins has been my goto xmas eve tradition for more than 30yrs now... sure there have been gaps where I didn't have a copy available, I was away for example.
Later, if I have time... I added Scrooged to the xmas eve list about 10yrs ago.
On xmas day... it has to be Die hard of course.
If I'm lucky... I might even squeeze in A Muppet Christmas Carol over the next couple of days.

This is a comedy action movie that should take its rightful place with other worthy #Christmas movies like #DieHard and #Scrooged . A definite recommend. Oh, and I've seen some of the headlines of media reviews. They are taking this film way too seriously. Ignore them.
