I think I have finally been able to get the closest thing to adding new actions to #shortcuts with #scriptable as I can get.

Here is a demo of creating some "tools" that you can run in scriptable or shortcuts. The UI that you see in scriptable also allows you to create the shortcuts actions to invoke it (another shortcuts is needed to actually convert to the right format). These will be put in your clipboard and you can paste them to the shortcuts you want to add them to with minimal changes required. You can even see in the demo that the parameters are validated.

Scriptable on iOS is so good. I’m building out an Obsidian library in JavaScript and there is just so much there.

Got my initial library up. Was able to append text to a header section.

Next up: geolocation links that integrate with the MapView plugin.

Really like how this little widget I built for tracking #REWE deliveries using #Scriptable (thanks @simonbs) turned out. Was a fun and helpful little project, and a joy to create.

Would love to see this in the official REWE app as a live activity.

I am a big fan of #scriptable. Such a nice app. Sure I could build this myself in SwiftUI but then I would have to deal with all the signing and App Store bullshit. Also for little things like this JavaScript is so much nicer than a strict language like Swift.
And of course #homeassistant which provides all the data in a unified manner with a simple well documented API.

In the latest update of my lichess Widget you can hide game types that you don’t need. For me, I don’t play Bullet, I can just hide it now.

One of the things I miss most about #Apollo is the image widgets.

So here’s a #Scriptable widget that does the same thing, but pulls images from a #Lemmy RSS feed

You can change the widget parameters to pull from a different community, but by default it’ll pull from lemm.ee/c/pixelpassport

I have a confession to make, i fell in love with every app @simonbs made so far. I use #DataJar #Jayson #Runestone and #Scriptable all of them also work fluently with my #Shortcuts development process. But now his newest app is also worth looking into Re: Toot ( download: https://apps.apple.com/app/id1661697436 ) It creates an easy way to quote share #Mastodon posts. Simon, i will add my 5 star review to the app store. #shortcutsapp #shortcutsusergroup #app
