I just pulled the trigger on a Fanttik E2 Ultra for the repair bench. It was about time to upgrade my old Craftsman screwdrivers that are starting to show their age.

Looking forward to seeing how those 5 torque settings handle delicate laptop internals and security key teardowns. A review video might be in the works once I've put it through its paces.

I lost my favourite #pocketknife a couple of days ago.

It’s a #Victorinox Ranger 55 & it’s usually in a pants pocket.

I use it for #opening bags of lupins & #cutting lucerne bale strings, gardening, cutting fruit & vegetables, #dicing & #slicing meat, #openingcans & #bottles, using it’s #screwdriver when I’m tinkering & on & on.

I finally found it this morning.

It was in my freezer! lol. (Hello again dementia! #CaryGrant: “Insanity doesn't run in my family; it practically gallops!”)

Phew!

This #Poundland #screwdriver set is useless for removing these hex screws that fasten the metal housing for a COB LED I found on the street. Did this get snapped off from a vehicle or a flashing street sign?

The hex-star bits don't fit the screws properly and the metal is too soft so they just get chewed up

The PCB has 3 LEDs on each side. All 6 seem to be working. 3 in series, both sides in parallel. Total forward voltage of about 7.6V
